What you'll need

  • A Jira account user, API Key, and the Url to your JIRA endpoint.

Create an API token

Create an API token from your Atlassian account:

  1. Log in to https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens.

  2. Click Create API token.

  3. From the dialog that appears, enter a memorable and concise Label for your token and click Create.

  4. Click Copy to clipboard

Steps

  1. Enter a Connection Name, excluding whitespace and special characters

  2. Enter your Jira account API KEY.

  3. Enter the URL to your JIRA endpoint; for example, https://yoursitename.atlassian.net

  4. Enter the JIRA user account to be used to authenticate
